Off-site Activities
- Snow Lovers’ Adventures in Vail
At Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail, winter offers your guests so much more than skiing. Ascend Rocky Mountain peaks and take in breathtaking views on group snowmobiling tours and snowshoeing hikes. At the top of Vail Mountain, groups explore the spectacular wilderness and high alpine habitat. Guests looking for another route to the top can spend the afternoon at Adventure Ridge, a rip-roaring multi-lane tubing hill with a lift to the top. Or enjoy the scenic views of the White River National Forest from the warmth and comfort of our snowcoach tour. The 13-passenger, fully enclosed, heated, four-track vehicle climbs to an elevation of 12,500 feet with panoramic 360 degree vistas.
- World-Class Golfing
Eagle County offers some of the most spectacular golf courses in the country; invite your guests to experience them all. Red Sky Ranch is a private club offering the finest golf in the area, featuring an 18-hole Tom Fazio and Greg Norman–designed golf course with panoramic views of the Rockies. Nearby Cordillera Golf Club is home to four courses: Valley Course, Mountain Course, Summit Course and one of the two short courses in the world. Groups can also enjoy Beaver Creek – another beautiful golf course in a natural setting designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Additionally, local courses are a wedge away in Vail and Eagle-Vail.
- An Afternoon on the River
An expert guide shows your guests the hidden fishing holes and winding waters of the Vail Valley’s legendary rivers, streams and ponds. All skill levels are welcome for a full- or half-day trip. Let our culinary team provide a catered picnic lunch to complement a nature-filled day.
- Explore the Mountains
There is no shortage of beautiful places to see in the Vail Valley. We pair your group with a local guide who leads the way along a variety of options, including a casual walk to an alpine lake, an invigorating climb to a 14,000-foot peak, and even a leisurely stroll with llamas to a catered Four Seasons lunch. Whatever your guests’ preference, there is a trail that takes them where they want to go.
As a Colorado native, I am grateful to share our little corner of the wilderness with our guests. We want everyone to feel like this is their home away from home.
