OUR GUEST EXPERIENCE MANAGER’S GO-TO FOR GIFTS
“If you’re looking for unique, authentically Japanese souvenirs, I always suggest checking out stationery stores. My favourite is Ginza Itoya, just a short walk from the Hotel. Spread out over 12 floors, it’s expansive and fun to browse. Each storey has creative notecard sets, as well as collections like uniquely shaped paper clips and scissors. With all kinds of useful gadgets and cool inventions too, you’ll find something for everyone on your gift list.”
WHERE OUR FRONT OFFICE MANAGER GOES FOR A COLD DRINK
“To discover the more casual side of Tokyo, I recommend visiting the yokocho and gado-shita, which are old-school narrow alleyways and streets jam-packed with Japanese eateries, and izakaya (pub-style bars). These have become trendy areas for hip new restaurants and speakeasy bars. If you're in the mood for fresh seafood and Japanese beer, I suggest visiting Yurakucho Gado-shita, which is a lively drinking spot located under the rail tracks of Yurakucho station and only a stone’s throw from the Hotel.”
