Rodney Belanger

General Manager, Chicago Rare
Rodney Belanger's journey in the service industry began more than two decades ago with his role as a doorman at Ottawa’s first boutique hotel in Canada, which sparked his passion for hospitality. An opportunity then led him to New York, where he collaborated with some of the city's premier hotel operators and chefs. Seeking new challenges and growth, Rodney then transitioned to Miami to spearhead the opening of the first U.S. Nusr-et Steakhouse, followed by a move to Doha where he became a key member of the W Doha team before joining us to lead the exceptional team at Chicago Rare.

Christian Gosselin

Executive Chef, Chicago Rare
Since his first role as a banquet chef at Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile in 2004, Gosselin has developed a profound culinary expertise marked by leadership roles leading at prestigious venues such as Sofitel Chicago Water Tower, LM Restaurant Group and an award-winning tenure at Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Gosselin loves exploring First Nations and Native American cuisines, emphasizing sustainable and foraged ingredients. A farmer and beekeeper with deep respect for the earth, he is also passionate about using local and animal-based ingredients. He integrates discipline and precision into both his professional and personal life.

Robin Chapman

Assistant General Manager, Chicago Rare
Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Robin Chapman is a visionary in the hospitality industry with more than two decades of experience. He's made significant contributions to the restaurant sector, particularly in the award-winning Cape Winelands District. His extensive background managing high-end restaurants in the U.S. and U.K. coupled with large-scale event management has enhanced his ability to cater to diverse clientele and create unique, immersive experiences. In February 2023, Chapman joined Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar, playing a pivotal role in opening the Hotel. In April 2024, he opened Chicago Rare, further elevating his influence in the culinary world.
