After a 15-minute drive through dense jungle, arrive at our main building, La Mansión. Inspired by ancient Mexican architecture, this open-air structure presents a stunning view – introducing our reserve’s 1,214 hectares (3,000 acres) of nature and 10 kilometres (6 miles) of coastline.

Explore our three levels of infinity pools cascading down the cliffside – from family pools on the upper levels to a quiet pool, or a collection of private cabanas. If you prefer the ocean, our lengthy coastline features three swimmable beaches and several hidden coves to snorkel.

We invite you to The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, a refuge for well-being inspired by the sea and jungle around us.

Plan a workout in our ocean-view Fitness Centre, making the most of our state-of-the-art equipment, including Pilates reformers and Peloton bikes. The real joy of Tamarindo is that the entire reserve is your gym. Go hiking on jungle paths, swim laps in the pool or take a gentle jog with our Run Concierge on Dorado Beach at dawn.

Established in 1995 and considered one of the golf world’s true hidden treasures, the par-72 El Tamarindo Golf Course offers 18 holes of links-style play designed by David Fleming.

Tamarindo is a school of nature, full of wonders and possibilities for fun and discovery. At Caramelo, our Kids For All Seasons activity area, kids will find out how to identify birds and discover where eggs come from, make juice from the fruit they pick themselves and learn about the smallest of creatures and the tallest of trees.
