Executive Chinese Chef
With 26 years of experience in Chinese cuisine accumulated mainly in Shanghai and Hangzhou, Chef Zhang has mastered the intricacies of the culinary style local to Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, known as Jiangzhe cuisine. He honed his craft over the years as the head Chinese chef at various luxury hotels, as well as in the kitchen of a Michelin-starred restaurant in Shanghai. His cooking philosophy revolves around maintaining the authentic foundation of the regional dishes he creates, including using local ingredients and finding innovative ways to unlock new flavour profiles. Most recently, Chef Zhang served as the Chinese chef at Jin Sha, the celebrated restaurant at Four Seasons Hangzhou West Lake.

Trained across multiple dessert disciplines in Switzerland, Germany, the United States and France – including at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris – award-winning pastry chef Christy Tse has worked in kitchens around the world during her career, including in Hong Kong, Paris, Dubai and Maldives. Most recently, she was the Executive Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin.

Davide's love for cooking began with fond memories of his mother's cooking creations and the diverse food cultures he experienced while travelling to various countries. His appreciation for distinctive regional cuisines led to a passion for culinary art. Davide has worked his way through different countries, leaving a mark in luxury hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, including Armani Hotel in Dubai, Shangri-La and Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai, and well-known restaurants in Rome, London and Taipei. Marking his entrance into the Four Seasons family here in Suzhou, he looks forward to bringing a luxurious dining experience to our guests.

Spare time spent travelling to the mountains and rivers of Sichuan and Chongqing brought William a lot of inspiration, making him passionate about discovering the interesting collisions between local specialties and cocktails, which further stimulated his motivation to delve into mixology. Before joining Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou, he served as the chief bartender at The Temple House Chengdu for many years. Every interaction with guests became another source of inspiration for him. At Four Seasons, William not only hopes to bring more unprecedented flavours to guests but also hopes to bring more honours to the team.
