Overview

Drive through the Ras Mohamed National Park and take in the wondrous natural phenomena of this 480-square-kilometre (185-square-mile) protected area. The park includes the islands of Tiran and Sanafir as well as the coral reef around Sharm El Sheikh. Observe some of the unusual inland ecosystems, like the coastal dunes and mangrove swamps. Finally, settle down on one of the park's many beaches for the remainder of the day, where you can swim and observe a variety of marine fauna while offshore snorkelling.
