- Lagoon Lesson (Level 1 Novice)
- Starting in the calm waters at Sunset Beach, you’ll learn 10 core concepts for success and confidence, including ocean safety, board handling, stance and balance. No experience is required, though reasonable fitness is helpful. Includes use of surfboard, reef shoes, long-sleeve rash shirt, water hat, sunscreen, towel and water. Competency at level 1 qualifies you to hit the waves in a level 2 course. 1-hour group class: EUR 115 per person 1-hour private class: EUR 460 for up to 4 people maximum
- Ocean Transition (Level 2–4 Beginner/Intermediate; Small Waves/Sand Patch Lesson Paddle Out (Level 2–3)
- Paddle out from beach to rolling, sand-bottomed waves, and experience the thrill of gliding across green-faced waves in a tropical paradise. Includes all equipment, sun protective gear, towel and water. - Sand Patch Lesson With Jet Ski Assistance (Level 2–3)
- Jet ski transfer to rolling, sand-bottomed waves, and experience the thrill of gliding across green-faced waves in a tropical paradise. Professional instructors will help you catch waves, then use our jet ski to tow you back out in order to save your energy and increase your wave count. Includes all equipment, sun protective gear, towel, water, jet ski assistance and two Tropicsurf instructors. - Tropicsurf’s 10-step program includes video analysis, identifying your strengths and weaknesses, plotting them to a detailed skill progression, equipment fine-tuning, fitness analysis, confidence building through surfing psychology and increasing your wave count. Twenty years in the making, this innovative program can be taken over a minimum of five days. EUR 57.50 per person per day

- Seasonal Variations
- NW SEASON: Typically November to April. During this time, the offshore reefs are cleanest and best. SE SEASON: Typically May to October. During this time, the offshore reefs are frequently windy and onshore, though some reefs may remain surf-able. Sand Patch is surfable for beginners in all winds and seasons.
