Embark on a three-quarter day safari to the southwest Moru Kopjes area of the Serengeti in the company of our driver-guide and resident Maasai. As well as the scenery and the chance to spot one of the elusive Black Rhinos that inhabit the area, your guides will explain the history and cultural significance of Gong Rock and the Rock Paintings.

Embark on a Full day adventure, as you head south across the Serengeti Plains, stopping to visit a Maasai Boma village at the entrance of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Proceed to the archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge and learn about the fossil discoveries, before a visit to the dunes of the “Shifting Sands” while returning to the Serengeti.

Explore the region of the Park where the Seronera River attracts wildlife all year round. Look up to the Sausage Trees that line the banks of the river in search of a leopard, or spot lions in search of a place to rest. A seasonal region for wildlife activity, this area is best visited from late December to early April when it is possible to see the Great Migration. February is also birthing season for wildebeest and thousands of this magnificent creature feed on the lush green grass of southern Serengeti – with so many wildebeest, the predators are never far away.

A region with seasonality linked to the movements of the Great Migration, the Western Corridor is typically where the wildebeest are found from late May to early July. This region is also where the wildebeest rut takes place and the herds must cross the tree-lined Grumeti River, reputedly home to some of the largest crocodiles in Africa.
