Pierre Hermé
Pastry ChefVoted “Best Pastry Chef in the World” by The Academy of the World's Fifty Best Restaurants, Chef Pierre Hermé has been perfecting his craft all his life. He was born into four generations of Alsatian bakers, and began training at age 14 under famed pâtissier, Gaston Lenôtre. Since then, he has become world-renowned for his macarons – and the global boutiques in which they’re sold – which incorporate unusual flavours and new takes on classic recipes. He is currently the first and only pastry chef to be honoured with the title of Chevalier of Arts and Letters.
