- Only palace in the world to have been awarded BREEAM In-Use certification in both ASSET and MANAGEMENT, achieving an Excellent rating in both categories
- Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations available for guest use
- Vegan and vegetarian menu items available
- Linens and towels replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested
- Energy saving measures in place, including electricity submeters, upgrades to the building’s technical management systems and smart technology in guest rooms
- Implementation of an annual plan to reduce energy consumption
- Water conservation measures in place, including water submeters, flow limiters and leak detection systems
- Water-efficient landscaping
- Recycling program in place
- Single-use, plastic-free guest experience in place
- Organic waste from the property’s restaurants is processed into nutrient-rich compost
- Coffee grounds are collected by a local partner and used as fertilizer to help grow mushrooms consumed at Le George restaurant
- Solid soaps and shampoos are recycled and donated to those in need
- Water fountains installed around the Hotel for easy refilling of water bottles
- Responsibly sourced seafood and poultry available
- Locally sourced vegetables, cheese, flour, butter and cream used in our kitchens
- Cage-free eggs
- Food waste reduction program in place
- 106 square metres (1,141 square miles) of vegetated surface and bird nesting boxes added to our Hotel’s outdoor spaces to promote biodiversity
- Manage a nearby 1,800-square-metre (19,375-square-foot) kitchen garden, using sustainable, chemical-free and biodynamic practices, allowing plant and animal life to flourish. Serve harvested fruits and vegetables at Le George restaurant
- Beehives located in our kitchen garden help restore and preserve bee populations
- Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historic and heritage sites organized by our concierge team, including visiting the iconic house of Perrier-Jouët in the Champagne region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and home to the most extensive private collection of French art nouveau in Europe
- Professional reintegration opportunities provided to 20 people through employment in our Hotel’s kitchen garden
- Linen, furniture and equipment donated to the local community
- Local artists and artisans featured throughout the Hotel
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training
- Employees volunteer in the local community with Hôpital Robert-Debré, an institution specializing in pediatric healthcare
- Associative partnership with Les Hôtels Solidaires for the collection of excess food and hygiene products
- Our glass yoghurt jars are upcycled into soy wax candles, promoting local craftsmanship
- Employees have the opportunity to take part in charity races throughout the year
