    Junkanoo – Rhythm of The Bahamas

    Revered around the world, the vibrant display of costumed dancers and musicians is the epitome of what holidays in The Bahamas offer: celebration, dance and fanfare. It also doubles as one of the nation’s fiercest competitions held on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The Ocean Club will welcome a Junkanoo band parading through the Resort’s lush grounds, on select dates.

    Straw Market

    Local artisans and craftspeople model a neighbourhood bazaar. Experience Bahamian culture though the art of fine hand-rolled cigars, small-batch rum and traditional straw handicrafts, conveniently available for your shopping enjoyment right at the Resort.

    Kids for All Seasons

    Our team of fully certificated counsellors is ready to entertain your children – giving them a holiday all their own. The magic of The Bahamas comes to life every day in our complimentary kids’ club, welcoming guests ages 4 to 12. Children 4 and under may also attend with the supervision of a parent or guardian. Children will love the array of Festive-theme programming, with activities such as ornament making, faux-snow making, holiday slime, Christmas Jeopardy, build a sandman, jolly charades and much more.

    Fit for a Holiday

    Earn each feast with our extensive program of high-intensity workouts from our fitness experts or join a family-friendly tennis tournament led by long-standing tennis pro Marvin Rolle. Stay present with morning yoga set to the sounds of a live cello, go for the win by participating in a resort led badminton tournament or explore the shallow waters of The Ocean Club by paddle board. We have many activities for you to enjoy in our piece of paradise. Guests ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    Set atop a white sand bluff, DUNE hosts Nassau’s Finest Sunday Brunch. During this holiday season, both local and resort guests can indulge in whatever piques their palate during this lavish, mouth-watering weekly ritual.

    A Midnight Affair in Paradise

    The Ocean Club will host dinners at both DUNE and Ocean Blu, followed by a celebration on the main Ocean Pool lawn and pool deck. DUNE will offer a prix fixe four-course set menu with two seatings at 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm along with live music. Ocean Blu will offer two seatings, at 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm, and a set menu with family-style appetizers, a barbecue station and side dishes, with live music. The event will flow onto the main Resort lawn where guests will enjoy dancing. After a complimentary Champagne toast, a traditional Bahamian Junkanoo will lead guests into DUNE Bar for an afterglow. Guests can also delight in the fireworks display over the ocean.

    Join us at The Martini Bar to celebrate the season with special martini flights and seasonal flavoured martinis. Mix and mingle with lead mixologist Keith Cash, on staff for more than 37 years, known for his delicious signature cocktails and martinis.
