    Lei can be made with flowers, leaves, shells, ivory, feathers or paper, and are given as a symbol of affection. Our cultural advisor, Aunty Wendy, has an incredible collection of valuable and unusual lei on display at our Resort’s front entrance – an Instagrammable site to behold!

    Lei Making

    In Hawaii, a lei (garland or wreath) is typically given for greetings, farewells, congratulations, recognition, or affection. Learn how to string an orchid lei or braid a ti-leaf lei for your very own island keepsake.
