- Bicycles available for guest use
- Linens and towels replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested
- The City Council has awarded our beach with “Blue Flag” certification, an annual award given by an international jury, to beaches and ports that meet a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety-related and access-related criteria
- Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas has teamed up with research project Whale Shark Mexico, which provides conservation, education and sustainable management for the largest fish in the sea. The program will allow guests to Adopt a Whale Shark and be a part of the continued safeguarding efforts of these gentle giants

- The Programa de Protección de Gallito Marino (Least Tern Protection Program) is active at the Resort and provides a safe and protected space for gallito marinos (least terns) to lay their eggs, supervised daily by a member of the Adventure Concierge Team
- Guests can participate in the Sea Turtles Program from late summer into winter, where Costa Palmas and the local government unite to protect the vulnerable Olive Ridley sea turtles that nest along the Baja Mexico coastline; each year, more than 300 turtle nests are relocated and planted safely on the Costa Palmas property where they are protected and tracked
- Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, located just off our coast, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Costa Palmas follows strict policies and procedures to ensure the ongoing health of marine life
- On-site biologist leads Costa Palmas community environmental initiatives, ensuring that local flora and fauna are safe and healthy
- Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community, including the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains and hiking trips to nearby Sol de Mayo’s waterfall and hot springs
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training
- Employees volunteer in the local community through Cortez Rescue & Outreach, a local dog shelter
- Support of local charities, including Cortez Rescue & Outreach, where guests can foster a rescue dog during their stay, adopt a dog or volunteer their time at the centre
- Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas partners with the Costa Palmas Foundation to support the preservation of biodiversity, natural resources and community development in the East Cape region through sustainable initiatives that enhance the quality of life for local residents
