Manele Golf CourseBuilt on lava outcroppings, our Jack Nicklaus-signature course features three holes perched on cliffs, enlisting the Pacific Ocean as a water hazard. The five-tee concept challenges the best golfers – tee shots over natural gorges and ravines must be precise – and novice players will enjoy practicing their swing amid spectacular vistas. Preferred tee times, complimentary food and beverages and our warm aloha spirit ensure a memorable day – or days – on the greens. Course access is not available for day guest use.

- Two-Day Golf School
On day one, play nine holes alongside a PGA instructor and perform a TrackMan swing analysis after the round. On the second day, focus on personalized training then hit the course to apply your newly learned skills in an in-game environment.

Director of GolfScott Ashworth
A native of Spokane, Washington, Ashworth discovered his passion for golf at a young age through his father, who served as a golf course superintendent for 30 years. One of the most distinguished golf professionals in Hawaii, Ashworth has more than 25 years of experience in the golf industry and has received many accolades, including the 2018 and 2008 Golf Professional of the Year from the PGA Aloha Section. He was the District 11 Director for the PGA of America representing the Aloha, Northern California and Southern California Sections on the National Board of Directors from 2016 to 2018 and was recently selected for a second three-year term starting November 2024.![]()
Head Golf ProfessionalKendric Kimizuka
Leaving a successful, 12-year career in the financial-services industry, Kendric Kimizuka followed his passion for golf to become one of Hawaii’s leading club professionals. At Manele Golf Course, he manages golf operations and tournament operations, and oversees the instruction program.![]()
Golf Course SuperintendentSeril Shimizu
Born and raised in Hawaii, Shimizu combines his love of golf and the outdoors in his work, overseeing all golf-course maintenance at Manele. A member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the Hawaii Golf Course Superintendents Association, Shimizu earned a Master’s of Science in agriculture from Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo as well as a degree in turfgrass management.![]()
PGA Lead InstructorWilliam Foster
Foster came to Manele Golf Course over 6 years ago from The Grand Golf Club in San Diego where he served as an Assistant Golf Professional. Will, as he is known, has been a PGA member for over a decade and has over 20 years of experience in the Golf Industry. His passion has turned to teaching the game of golf where he has become an expert with Trackman and spends countless hours on the lesson tee. He has been instrumental in the creation and success of the Lanai Junior Golf Program which led him to receive the Aloha Section PGA Youth Player Development Award in 2022. Will also coordinates and oversees many Growth of the Game initiatives for guests to Lanai while ensuring the guest experience is a once in a lifetime Hawaiian golf experience.

Member for a weekWelcome to the club. Throughout your seven-day visit, enjoy unlimited, sun-up-to-sun-down access, a shared GPS-enabled cart, unlimited access to all golf practice facilities, ground transportation to and from the golf course and complimentary rental clubs.

Family GolfHit a few balls on the driving range and putting green, or enjoy a round of Junior Golf. Accompanied by a paid adult, kids ages 17 and under enjoy complimentary play after noon on our Signature Jack Nicklaus course. Complimentary junior clubs are available. Must be 5 years old or older to ride in a golf cart.
