RASIKA WEERASINGHE
Executive Pastry ChefEvery day, Rasika Weerasinghe dedicates himself to a simple mission: spreading happiness through his sweet creations. His culinary journey began in Colombo and took him to the UAE before leading him to Kyoto. As Executive Pastry Chef, Weerasinghe oversees dessert preparations across all our restaurants, afternoon tea service and bakery operations. His expertise is evident in every offering, from meticulously crafted sourdough bread to his renowned signature dessert: carbonated cucumber soup with pickled honey melon, shiso meringue and sake sorbet. Utilizing local, seasonal ingredients, Chef Weerasinghe curates a pastry experience that seamlessly blends tradition with innovation.
