An installation of 53 pewter flower sculptures is displayed in our ground-floor lobby. Each flower is finished with metalesce, enhancing its sleek texture. “Magnificent Lace Creation”
Composed of micro images of seeds, pollen, pistils, and stamens from plants and flowers, the art in the walkways of Levels 6A and 6B is layered on semi-transparent industrial materials, mimicking the earth’s organic contours. “Pewter In Seasons”
Upon entering the courtyard reception of Yun House on Level 5B, be greeted by a pewter-panelled screen adorned with moulded patterns of plum blossom, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum. Known as the Four Gentlemen in Chinese art, these motifs symbolize the four seasons. - By Cheong Tuck Wai
“Threads Of Nostalgia”
Inspired by the rattan sofa in his grandmother’s house in Kuantan, Pahang, artist Cheong Tuck Wai often shared updates about his life in Kuala Lumpur while sitting in this traditional rattan chair. As younger generations moved away for better opportunities, the chair has become a bridge between generations, serving as a place where stories are exchanged whenever family members return home to visit.
