At Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, Johannesburg, we are committed to preserving and regenerating the environment and leaving a positive, enduring impact on our local community. - Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community through our concierge, including visiting vibrant African crafts markets, learning about racial oppression that dominated the 20th century at the Apartheid Museum, exploring early human history at the Origins Centre or heading to Soweto to the Hector Pietersen Museum and the Mandela House Museum which illuminate the apartheid era in more detail

- Local artists and artisans featured throughout our Hotel, including 375 pieces of original artwork, all commissioned from local artists
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training
- Employees volunteer in the local community and support charitable organizations, including the Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC), Princess Alice Adoption Home, Hope School and the Run for Hope
- Eco-certified cleaning products used
- Spa products are primarily from local businesses, including South African-based skin and body care brand, TheraNaka™, offering certified fair trade, cruelty-free, eco-conscious and clean cosmetics
