WEDDING SERVICES
- Floral Arrangements
Delicate orchids, dramatic ginger blooms and gorgeous roses grown just up the mountain in Waimea add a local, tropical touch to your wedding décor.
- Stunning Photo Ops
Our on-site photographers know our idyllic property inside and out, and can help you pick the most picturesque backdrops for your wedding portraits.
- Hawaiian Elements
From flower crowns and leis to pineapple accents and hula dancers at the reception, we make it easy to incorporate local traditions.
Working closely with you, your wedding manager will be your contact for the wedding ceremony, reception and activities. Together you will choose the flowers, music, photographer, videographer, cake flavours, vows and menus for your special day. Your manager will make your wedding licence appointment and hair and make-up appointments, arrange group tee times and spa appointments. Just sit back, relax and let us orchestrate the wedding of your dreams.
Our in-house florist offers convenient, professional floral services and will work with you to customize arrangements for your wedding. In addition to traditional wedding arrangements, our florist can provide creative and exotic details to add a touch of the islands in unique and memorable ways. Greet your guests in true Hawaiian style with colourful leis or dress up your cocktails with fragrant orchids. A path of orchid petals can also bring an added romantic touch to your ceremony.
Our florist specializes in blending tropical florals and motifs into traditional arrangements. Most pieces use flowers and plants grown locally in the islands, many by small farmers and local residents who don’t grow flowers commercially but open the bounty of their gardens to our clients. We benefit from a constant supply of tropical flowers, including exotic orchids, dramatic gingers and gorgeous roses grown in Waimea, just up the mountain on the Kona coast.
Our Resort offers a variety of stunning locations to capture your wedding day. At the Wedding Tree, black lava bluffs overlook white-sand beaches and azure ocean waters, creating a dramatic contrast of colours for your photos. Its west-facing location offers an even more spectacular effect at sunset, when the sun’s fleeting “green flash” can often be seen. Our sparkling beaches and lush tropical gardens set the scene for equally impressive shots.
Our on-site photographers bring a knowledge of and familiarity with the property, so they can use your time effectively to create professional mementos of your special day. Your wedding manager will discuss the different approaches of our photographers and help you find the perfect way to suit your personality and sense of style.
Our unique outdoor spaces are surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Whatever your theme or style of wedding, we can offer additional decorative touches to enhance the atmosphere. Tiki torches lit throughout the Resort create an elegant atmosphere with an island twist. At the Garden Lawn or Hoku Theatre, white Chinese lanterns strung in trees create a false ceiling and add a warm glow, while twinkling lights wrapped around tree trunks add an air of whimsy and romance.
A variety of entertainment options are available on Hawaii Island. From Hawaiian trios to string quartets to high-energy cover bands, we can arrange any type of entertainment for your event.
Our makeup artists and hair designers specialize in beauty makeup and the latest bridal hair techniques to add glamour to your wedding-day look. Our beauty experts can meet you either in your suite, at the wedding site or at our salon to make sure you look your best on your special day.
Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is committed to ecological responsibility. Our recycling and composting programs are an integral part of our regular operations and help us reduce waste. We also use compact fluorescent light bulbs throughout the Resort.
For couples concerned with the environmental impact of their event, we offer the Malama ’Aina – “Care of the Land” package, which offers alternative lighting options, biodegradable and sustainable place settings and arrangements, and an exciting menu using sustainable, regional and seasonal resources.
Your wedding manager can identify other ways in which you can reduce the carbon footprint of your celebration, and will help you implement environmentally sound measures throughout the entire planning process.
