Located on the banks of Song Hung (Perfume River), the Imperial City of Hue is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of only 10 walled cities still standing, Hue was the national capital and the political, cultural and religious centre of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty until 1945.
