Elephant Camp DinnerEmbark on a culinary journey where every moment is steeped in elegance and every bite tells a story. Savour a bespoke dining experience in an al fresco setting, illuminated by the gentle glow of candlelight and enriched by live classical Thai music. Choose from a menu tailored to your preferences, featuring Western or Thai cuisine, and engage with our gentle giants before relishing in a chef-curated selection of local or international favourites. THB 19,000 for two guest (THB 6,000 per additional guest).

- Elephant Bathing
- Join our elephants and mahouts at the morning bathing ritual, where you can observe these gentle giants as they enjoy their bath. Watch out for splashes from a mischievous elephant. Price: complimentary Time: 8:30 am Venue: Elephant Pond (near Burma Bar)

- We’d be happy to arrange more elephant time, such as an excursion from a selection of two different routes.
- VISIT THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE ASIAN ELEPHANT FOUNDATION (GTAEF)
- Learn about the Foundation’s work and the sustainability model it uses to ensure the elephants are well provided for, as are their mahouts and families. Price: THB 2,000 per guest (this fee goes towards the Foundation) Duration: Approximately 45 minutes (by appointment only) Please contact the Camp Host by dialling 0 or chat with us via the FS App to reserve.

We believe that every elephant deserves a life of dignity. Partnering with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation, we’ve rescued and adopted more than 20 elephants from Thailand’s crowded city streets to help them lead happy lives in our jungle surroundings.
Our Philosophy
Meet Our Elephants
Linda (Dah)Fondly called “Nong Dah” (“Nong” meaning “young”) as she came to us at the tender age of 4, Linda spent her early years in Patpong and Silom in Bangkok, selling bananas and posing for photographs. Having grown up amidst concrete and traffic, we were unsure if she would adapt to the natural surroundings here, but Linda was quick to embrace the wilderness and is loving her new life, spending most of her time with her best friend, Yok Fah.
Phuang Phet (“Bunch of Diamonds”)Phuang Phet walked into our lives when her owners brought her here to the local village. She had been living in the back of their truck and surviving on the alms of local people of the northern towns, who would buy sugarcane from her owners to feed her. While her owners did indeed treat her well, they were unable to sustain this arrangement. Her first few days at the Camp were a nonstop eating binge as she could not believe she now had a never-ending supply of sugarcane. She is one of the friendliest elephants you will ever meet.
- Mae Noi (“A little mother”)
- Youthful and energetic, Mae Noi is the most playful of the elephants at GTAEF. Having arrived here in 2018, she has made a real splash, swimming out beyond the others and encouraging her best friend Saeng Duen to do join her. Easily identified by the freckles behind her eyes and on the tips of her ears, Mae Noi is very intuitive and inquisitive about her fellow elephants.
- Saeng Duean (“Moonlight”)
- Another refugee from the Covid-19 pandemic, Saeng Duean was originally a logging elephant in the south who made the transition to tourist work before the pandemic struck. Recently rescued by GTAEF, Saeng Duean arrived here very slim and underfed. Our mahouts learned that she was very fussy with her food and had to coax her to build up her strength. She is wary of people sneaking up on her from behind, so be careful not to walk around her. Saeng Duean enjoys her time outdoors, looking for her best friend Mae Noi for company.
- POON LARP (“Full of Luck”)
- Poon Larp was found on the streets of Central Thailand, after being laid off by a struggling trekking camp. She showed classic signs of abuse and stress, and was initially reluctant to interact with anyone, including other elephants. We worried that even after she recovered, she might never be comfortable with guests; however, much to our surprise, Poon Larp has acclimatized and is now one of the happiest, most social elephants at our Camp. She loves to interact with guests, especially if they bring her a snack.
- Yok Fah (“Blue Jade”)
- Easily identified by the small freckles above her eyes, Yok Fah is a playful young elephant whose lips curl up in the corners in a charmingly crooked smile. She tends to nudge the older elephants, urging them to play with her. Having grown up in a trekking camp, she hasn’t received much training or care, and is learning to adapt to her new home. Underfed and nervous when she arrived, she requires a bit more encouragement from her mahout.

Adoption Program
Our guests have assisted in the adoption of more than 10 elephants from the streets, providing them food and veterinary care through a monthly membership. Donations through the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation (GTAEF) go directly to the welfare of adopted elephants, as Four Seasons Tented Camp at Golden Triangle covers all administration and logistical support.
