With exclusive access, enter the former dwelling of Leonardo da Vinci for a gourmet dinner served by a chef and personal attendant, enhanced by a fine view of the Duomo.

In 1367, Italian architect Neri di Fioravante proposed building the dome of the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore without traditional Gothic buttresses – and his plan helped mark the beginning of the Italian Renaissance. Engineered into existence by Filippo Brunelleschi, it is still the largest masonry dome in the world, sitting atop one of Italy’s largest structures: the basilica known as Il Duomo di Firenze.

From a private 15th-century palazzo just a few blocks away, you’ll be perfectly positioned to reflect on the Duomo’s magnificence. You’ll enjoy exclusive access to this historic residence, designed by sculptor and architect Giuliano da Sangallo and once the home of Leonardo da Vinci. It’s rumoured that the palazzo, just steps from Florence’s Palazzo Vecchio, is where he painted La Gioconda, also known as the Mona Lisa.

You’ll enjoy exclusive access to the palazzo and its one-of-a-kind views of the Duomo, offering a magnified look at the basilica’s architectural details. Sip pre-dinner drinks while watching the sun set over the structure from the palazzo’s fourth floor, and then take in 360-degree views of the centre of Florence from the penthouse terrace. From here, you can also see Piazza della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Repubblica. The Duomo views from the dining room, where renowned floral and event designer Vincenzo Dascanio has expertly adorned your table with candles and flower cascades, are unmatched. And our talented culinary team’s fully customizable four-course menu, served by your dedicated Four Seasons Hotel Firenze chef and personal attendant, is an exquisite complement to the artful skyline views.
