Guided by our experts, this unforgettable hike at Rincón de la Vieja National Park will have you chasing La Cangreja or La Escondida waterfalls to take in incredible viewpoints. Discover the magic of this volcanic paradise as you traverse inspiring landscapes. The trip concludes with a traditional lunch in the historic town of Liberia.

Things To Know

: Guests must be able to hike at least 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles).
Guests must be 8 years or older to participate.
: The rate covers two people; additional participants may be added for USD 250 per person, up to 15 people total.
This experience is a 1.5-hour drive from the Resort.
Guests have the option of one of three paths to take.
La Oropendola Waterfall is an easy-level, 3.5-kilometre (2.2-mile) hike.
La Cangreja Waterfall is an intermediate-level, 9.6-kilometre (6-mile) hike.
La Escondida Waterfall is a strenuous, 9.6-kilometre (6-mile) hike.
Price is subject to 13% tax.
