Our Commitment

At Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus, we are committed to preserving and regenerating the environment and leaving a positive, enduring impact on our local community. Electric Vehicles (EVs) available for guest transfers and used for all transportation within the Hotel
Vegan and vegetarian menu items available
Linens and towels replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested
: On-site combined heat and power (CHP) plant generates a portion of electricity consumed in our Hotel and satisfies most hot water and heating needs
Energy-saving guest room controls and building systems
Water-efficient landscaping, including smart irrigation controls
: Elimination of single-use plastic water bottles and food and beverage containers
On-site bottling plant utilizing reusable glass bottles to reduce food and landscape waste, with a built-in purification system to remove any impurities and toxins from the water
Recycling program in place
Food waste diverted from landfill and donated to local animal shelters
Soaps and toiletries recycled and donated to a local university student as part of a biofuel development project

Local, high-quality produce and ingredients used in our kitchens, including fish sourced from Istanbul-based suppliers
: Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community through our Concierge, including fashion, art, lifestyle and gastronomy tours and visits to top historic attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace
Local artists and artisans, including talented painters such as Kenan Işık, featured in the Hotel lobby, terrace and across the property through special exhibitions
Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training
Employees volunteer in the local community and support local charities, including various animal shelters and Niğde Çağdaş Eğitim Vakfı (Nigde Cagdas Educational Foundation) through participation in the Istanbul Marathon
: Eco-certified cleaning products used
Spa products are primarily from local businesses, including artisanal products from Anatolia-based creators
