- Linens and towels replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested
- First hotel in Azerbaijan to be verified for meeting the World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC) Hotel Sustainability Basics criteria

- Conduct regular energy and water audits to find opportunities to lower consumption and increase efficiency
- Elimination of single-use plastic food and beverage containers
- Food waste reduction program in place, including Winnow artificial intelligence technology implemented in our kitchens to help track, measure, control and reduce food waste
- Recycling program in place, including on-site glass crushing and local partnerships to divert used cooking oil and batteries from landfill
- Food waste diverted from landfill and donated to local animal shelters
- Local, sustainable and seasonal menu items available
- Responsibly sourced seafood available
- Rosemary and thyme grown in our property’s on-site garden used in our kitchens
- In 2024, we began collaborating with the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Azerbaijan on an annual tree-planting initiative to celebrate Earth Day.
- The head of our Green Team participates monthly in the Sustainability Committee of the Azerbaijan Hotel Association, which was created jointly with the Ministry of Ecology.
- Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community through our Concierge, including a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Icheri Sheher (The Inner City), engaging in the mysterious stories of Baku’s aristocracies at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and exploring the Ateshgah Historical Architectural Reserve.
- Local artists and artisans featured throughout our Hotel's common areas, including contemporary works from Azerbaijan-based painters, carpet weavers and sculptors
- Guests have a unique opportunity to learn the carpet weaving techniques at our Hotel through the Azerkhalcha store.

- Commitment to planting trees in collaboration with the Nizami Ganjavi International Center during the IX Global Baku Forum
