- Vegan and vegetarian menu items available
- Linens and towels replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested
- Salt technology used in hotel pool, which is a friendlier alternative for the environment and guest health
- Water conservation measures in place
- Energy-efficient practices and building systems in guest and meeting rooms
- Sustainable gardening methods, including artificial turf, water efficient xeriscaping and drought-resistant native plants and flowers
- Elimination of single-use food and beverage containers
- Recycling program in place
- Organic waste diversion program in place
- Soaps and toiletries recycled and donated to those in need through a local nonprofit
- Excess food donated to the local community through the Central Texas Food Bank
- Food grease diverted from landfill and repurposed into blended fuels
- Damaged linens and towels upcycled to reduce waste to landfill
- Elimination of single-use plastic soaps and bathroom amenities
- Local, sustainable and seasonal menu items available
- Responsibly sourced seafood available

- Food waste reduction program in place
- Biodiversity support program in place, including annual participation in Richard Sandoval Hospitality’s Viva Abejas (Long Live the Bees) culinary campaign at our restaurant, Ciclo, celebrating the significance of bees to the food cycle, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Help Save the Bees Foundation
- Our Hotel hosts periodic park and Lady Bird Lake cleanups open to guests and employees
- Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural, cultural, historical or heritage sites to learn more about the local community
- Local artists and artisans featured throughout our Hotel, including works from Austin-based creators and live musical performances in the Live Music Capital of the World
- Employees volunteer in the local community and support local charitable initiatives, including the Trail Foundation and the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, which helps provide affordable health insurance to local musicians
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training
- Eco-certified cleaning products used
- The Spa features retail products from Texas-based creators
- Suppliers are encouraged to reduce unnecessary packaging
