- The Abu-el Abbas Mosque
Visit the Abu-el Abbas mosque, built over the tomb of Saint Al-Mursi Abu'l-'Abbas. Saint Abbas was one of four master saints of Egypt.
- The Library of Alexandria
Visit the Library of Alexandria, a major library and cultural center in Alexandria. This landmark is a fitting tribute to the original Library of Alexandria, which held a significant amount of world history before catching fire between 285-246 BCE.
- Fort of Qaitbay
This 15th century citadel was built as a defensive fortress by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay. It is considered one of the most important fortresses along the Mediterranean coast.
- The Roman Amphitheater
Completed in the 4th century AD, this Amphitheatre was built as a place of entertainment for the Romans during the Greco-Roman period. Though much of its structure is in ruins, it still stands as a living piece of history
- Pompey's Pillar
Pompey's Pillar is a single column in the center of Alexandria, accompanied by a large statue of a Serapeum. These monuments are dedicated to Serapis, a patron God of ancient Egyptian civilization.
