- On March 21, 2011, Four Seasons celebrated its 50th birthday, commemorating the opening of its first hotel in Toronto in 1961.

- In 2012, Four Seasons marked its entry into Sub-Saharan Africa with a safari lodge in Serengeti, Tanzania.

- In 2013, Four Seasons opened its first Russian hotel, transforming a 19th-century palace apartment building in St. Petersburg.

- In 2014, Four Seasons further innovated its sleep experience by introducing a fully customizable mattress that allows guests to choose the firmness of their hotel bed.

- In 2015, the company introduced the first-ever Four Seasons Jet, providing a complete Four Seasons experience in the sky. Featuring signature design standards, staff and service, this private jet offers round-the-world journeys to Four Seasons hotels and resorts – creating a seamless Four Seasons travel experience.

- In 2015, Four Seasons introduced the Four Seasons App, making it easier for guests to check-in and out, book airport transfers and make dining reservations, all by the touch of a phone.

- A first in the global portfolio, Four Seasons introduced the Maldives private island in 2016, joining existing properties at Kuda Huraa, Landaa Giraavaru, and Four Seasons Explorer, a three-deck catamaran that embarks on overnight cruises, exploring the beautiful undiscovered waters of the Maldives.

- In 2017, the mobile experience was further enhanced through the introduction of Four Seasons Chat, an award-winning platform that allows guests to connect with Four Seasons staff on their preferred messaging platform before, during, and after their stay, in more than 100 languages. Powered by Four Seasons people rather than a chatbot, Four Seasons Chat combines high-tech capabilities with high-touch service to deliver a personalised experience at all stages of the guest journey.

- Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan was named the #1 Best Hotel in the World by Travel + Leisure in the annual World’s Best Awards.
- 2019
- Four Seasons continued to expand in key travel destinations, and in 2019 opened its first property in Greece with the restoration of the iconic Astir Palace in Athens. The company also expanded its robust residential footprint with the opening of Twenty Grosvenor Square in London’s historic Mayfair district – the first standalone Four Seasons Private Residence.
